Wedding Planning List

 

There are many stressful tasks involved in planning a wedding.  There are many details associated with planning a wedding that even an experienced wedding planner can be perplexed by.  This is one reason why a wedding planning list is necessary.

First, discuss and choose the wedding style that you both prefer.  Set your budget for the wedding with which ever family members who will be responsible for paying for the wedding (The bride’s family or the groom’s family).

Choose your honor attendant and bridesmaids, as well as the best man and the groomsmen.  You will end up with an enormous wedding planning list.  However, the list will be invaluable.

Make sure to register for wedding gifts.

Select the wedding date and keep the wedding team informed of all plans being made.  With a wedding planning list you are less likely to overlook any facet of your wedding. 

Pick out your brides gown and tux plus the accessories.

When planning a wedding ceremony, be sure to discuss what time your wedding party should arrive at the wedding site. 

Seating arrangements should, also, be discussed.  Your wedding planning list should include which side of the seating will be reserved for the bride’s side and which side is reserved for the groom’s side of the family. 

Note the tasks of the rest of the wedding party, as well.

When dealing with the processional, let the party know who goes first and last and in between.  Discuss the position of your wedding party as they stand in front.  Include the order of the recession -- who follows whom.

Include on your wedding planning list caterers, bakers, florists, photographers, videographers, and entertainment. 

This wedding list sample is by no means meant to include every task or item included in planning a wedding.  It  is just tho show how the wedding planning list can help to keep the bride and the groom on track and the wedding party informed.

When hiring a photographer, to take pictures at your wedding, one thing you should remember to do is to get him acquainted with the job he is to perform.  Show him where the ceremony will take place. Walk him around the event area.  Tell him exactly what yu expect of him so that there will be no mistakes concerning your wedding photos.

This is one area you really want to cover on your wedding planning list.

Include on your list such things to do as not overlooking the important of reconfirming your honeymoon plans.  Paying close attention to details such as plane reservations and hotel reservations can make the difference in the success of the wedding day. 

Remember past ceremony plans which should include someone showing the guests to the mingling area, gathering the family and friends for wedding pictures, and perhaps showing guests to the dinning area.

The function of a wedding planning list is to keep everyone informed of their responsibilities.  On your wedding planning, list you should fully include everything you need done on your wedding day.
